Un-Usable BBQ

Emily went outside to put the chickens back in the coop and collect eggs for the day.  She had been noticing a small bird that had been flying in and out of the BBQ grill this afternoon.  

Let's take a look-see shall we?

Ummm, who put all this straw/hay/grass in here?!?!

Emily and her "find".  I don't think we will collect these eggs.  :)

The eggs are such a beautiful blue.  Last year we found a nest with eggs in it on top of our propane tank.  However, the tank was metal and in full-sun so the little birds did not make it.  The BBQ grill is in the shade on the porch.  BUT it is NOT a hotel!!

What to do?

Homesick

I was looking through photo's and found this one of Auntie Chelsea hitchin' a ride with Mazey. The part that made me sad was that they are in the kitchen in the old house. Uhhmmm. I miss having a place to call my own right now. It could be worse, we could be living in a 2 bedroom apartment with all 7 of us crammed into the place. Or out on the street in a tent under an overpass, or the worst place would be if we had to camp out at my mom and dads. AHHH! :) We are so blessed to be living in our neighbors basement. It's HUGE and so spacious. Actually, now that I think about it maybe we won't start building for another year or so. Think of the money we could save if we lived here for a few more months!
