Today we visited Lady Liberty. What a fantastic experience to feel, in part, what our ancestors felt as they arrived in America and started their new lives.

Ellis Island:
We also visited the 9/11 memorial. In the registry, we looked up the two women that Laurel's Dad worked with who died that day. The girls are pointing at their names here in the memorial.
Dylan's Candy Bar:
Our favorite spot in NYC: Serendipity 3. Can you say hot fudge sundae?
Hmmm. Which to eat first?
The subways in NYC are great. The girls were a little tired by this point. :)
And finally, we were the only ones left on this subway on our last night in Manhattan. The girls had a lot of fun spinning around the subway poles with the train forces pushing them back and forth.
